"That's the best cheesecake ever.."

Yesterday when Dr Jilly Evans made the statement at Chiasma launch, i felt like a 10tonne heavy metal block has just been dropped upon me the way it has been on Hikari Hanazono.. if u've watched Special A u'll know..

She said with so much confidence "you CANNOT succeed without passion.." yes i agree but but but.. less than a week ago i've just created a new photo album on my facebook called '♥ Passion ♥'.. arghh it just feels like she's implying to me.. YOU WONT SUCCEED IN YOUR CAREER AS A BIOTECHNOLOGIST.. *sobs*

Anyway it's not like i really care that much to feel down.. i'm just studying for the sake of graduating.. the rest comes later LOL..

Then today.. i bumped into my Mt Terrace mate.. well, flatmate just doesn't sound so right.. he said to me.. "hey thank you so much for your cheesecake.. that's the BEST cheesecake ever.." yea he emphasized the 'BEST'.. gosh it feels so good..

It feels different from the time during Mt Terrace welcoming party when everybody said to u.. "wow your chocolate cake looks good.." or "hey your cake is awesome.." or "did u make it yourself it's really good.." etc etc.. well even if it's bad people won't tell u right in the face right.. HAHA..

This just feels so good.. he's a kiwi, 40years old.. old enough to have tasted enough cheesecakes i reckon.. yea it just feels so good to have a mat salleh saying to you in a serious way.. "that's the BEST cheesecake ever.." somehow cheesecakes are more of their culture than ours..

Well.. i know it's no big deal.. but i'm just so happy.. especially after the 打击 during CNY.. whereby i felt all my cake standards went down the drain.. both appearance and taste..

One thing for sure.. God really knows how and when to cheer u up.. ^_^
